Title:
Mulp
website Done almost entirely by themselves and over an extensive period of time in their own studio, Plum finally bring you 'Mulp', a nine song album of heavy hip hop. A mixture of stuff like Limp Bizkit and Primus with big unison arrangements, plenty of distorted guitar, slap bass and double bass-drum pedaling. The production's limited and it's busy in there, so, although the playing's pretty tight, the overall sound's very mushed which makes it hard to hear what they're saying. Intense and angry with some great vocal experimenting and lyrics. 'Liquid' and 'Empire' are the best. You need to be into really heavy stuff.
