These guys sound very much like a loose combination of 80's indie bands like Madness, The Specials, The Pixies etc. with Gothic / Bob Dylan vocal leanings - so while the influences could be worse the sound is still pretty dated. Low budget production doesn't help of course and the rhythm section could be tighter. On the up side though, much effort seems to have gone into the lyrics which could bare fruit given time..
